Food Adventure with yIpPi3

I have been on several food adventures with my friends but I have never written any posts about it. The main reason is that I'm always the one busy stuffing my face silly with food. The person behind the scene, the one who always takes beautiful pictures of the food and the course of our journey has gone to KL. So we have no choice but to take over the role of photographer.

So we went on this food adventure across the sea last Sunday at around 1.30pm. Our first stop : Ong Ching Huat Seafood Restaurant. We ordered fried spring chicken (a must have), steamed kappa, steamed octopus, fried bee hoon and fried 'po piah'. We do not have to wait long for the food to arrive and it only took us about 30 minutes to clean the plates. We must be starving....

Second stop : Chiam chiam ~ It's rojak 'lok lok' style

Third and final stop : Jawi Laksa ~

And then, we all went home full and happy~~ Looking forward to the next food adventure!!!!

My biggest customer

I love making cards but due to my lazy nature, I only make them when there is an occasion like someone's birthday, wedding or festive seasons like christmas, halloween and etc. Addition to that, I also like to procrastinate which sometimes made me unable to make a card in time for the occasion and ended up not doing anything.

My brothers think that I should try to make a business out of it as a part time and that's when my eldest brother became my first and biggest customer. He gave me a list of his colleagues' birthdays and asked me to make cards for them. It was a challenge to me as the cards that I usually made are meant for females, I had no idea how to make masculine cards. Thanks to youtube and Kristina Werner, I managed to get loads of idea on how to make masculine cards. Here are some of them:-

Birthday cards for my eldest brother's colleagues

Wedding card for my second brother's friend

I still need to make 9 more cards for my eldest brother's colleagues. Hopefully, I won't procrastinate anymore and get them done by 27th April. I got 3 more orders from a friend from secondary school which needs to be done before thanksgiving. Not to forget are occasions to come such as birthdays, wedding and festive seasons. I'm going to get busy and make more cards!!!

2011 in a nutshell

A lot has happened last year; stress from work, my dad going in and out of the hospital frequently and the sudden passing of my dad. Supports from family, relatives and friends have helped me pull through the difficult times.

I know it's already been three months into the year 2012 but I felt that I should sum up my year 2011 before I continue with my present and future posts. And there you have it; my 2011 in a nutshell......Now I can start posting bout my 2012. XP

Prologue of my 2012:-
I changed a new job, a new working environment, meet a lot of friendly and nice colleagues. Still misses my dad dearly but am feeling much better and moving forward. I love you, dad!

Too bad I cannot move my previous blog's content to here but if you would like to read what I've posted before, you can go to hoongyip.wordpress.com for my past posts. Though, you won't find much too read since I've been inactive since last February. Hahaha....I've been lazy but now I have the itch to blog again so you'll be seeing me around more often from now on.
