Spots and Dots

Hi!
I am participating in a challenge over at Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Blog and the theme is Spots and Dots. They are featuring Paper Smooches products this week but since I do not have much Paper Smooches products, I didn't use any in my card. 

I think I'm loving these shaker cards that I find myself making them quite often lately. I must say today's card is one of my favourites and I absolutely love, love, love Lawn Fawn's Hello Sunshine patterned papers.

Here's a look of the card:

I first die cut the heart out of Neenah 80lb Solar White Cardstock and then embossed it using the Swiss Dot embossing folder from Cuttlebug. I cut a 1 inch strip of Lawn Fawn Hello Sunshine patterned paper and glued it to the botoom of the Solar White cardstock. I colored the image using Distress Markers and fussy cut it.

Here's a closer look at the card. I used sequins for the shaker portion. Lastly I finished up the card with a sentiment and some Star Dust stickles from Ranger.
